I’m still working out a lot of the details for this site, so keep in mind that some thing may change over time. However, the general goal with this site is to provide help in a number of general areas of technology for a beginner (or even hobbyist) in technology.
With that in mind, my current structure will be divided into areas of “Navigating an OS”, “Programming Primers”, “Intermediate Concepts” and “Expanding Horizons”. Understand that I am also employed full-time as a developer, teach as an adjunct and have a family with 3 kids, 5 pets and my wife, and all of the responsibilities that come along with it. I also try to take a bit of time for myself, here and there, that lays outside of this technology. That means that while I will try to post new content here as often as I can, and will do my best to keep my structure and format uniform and easy-to-use, there will be periods of time where I may no get as much content up here as I’d like. Still, after some 25 years of being a technologist, starting as a student in Computer Science, I’ve managed to experience a fair amount, so I do have a lot of content I can provide here.
So if you can bear with me, and understand that this will take some time to put together, I think I can make the experience worth your while. Make sure you check back often. I do intend to keep a reasonable running update going on the front of the site, so you can know what I have out there, and what’s brewing.
